April 25, 2008 – Marina City is among more than 13,000 addresses in the 60610 zip code that will getting a new zip code. Effective July 1, the zip code will be 60654.

That zip code currently belongs to Merchandise Mart, but due to growth of the neighborhood served by Fort Dearborn Station, it will be expanded to cover more addresses.

According to the U.S. Postal Service, mail addressed to the old zip code will still be delivered until July 1, 2009.
