Ruido means “noise” in Spanish and stands for Chicago’s own Latin Alternative Music Festival. The festival features Latin post punk, electronic, hip-hop, rock, psychedelia, and reggae from all over the world. You’ve never heard anything like it. Tickets are $65 and up. Check out the cool after-parties, too!

Ukrainian Days Festival

To celebrate Ukraine’s independence from the Soviet Union, they created the largest Ukrainian street festival in the United States. Enjoy ethnic dance performances, live music, authentic Ukrainian fare, kids’ activities, and much more.

Turn to Gold!

The 64th annual Gold Coast Art Fair is so big, they had to move it to Grant Park. Discover more than 200 juried artists from across the country, displaying beautiful paintings, photography, fashion/wearables, furniture, sculpture, jewelry, glass, wood, mixed media, and more.

Bring your gently used art to the fest to donate to the Chicago Furniture Bank booth, Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets cost $10 per person, per day. Children 12 and under get in free.

Two festivals with a Latin beat

These events are like a passport to Sangria and Samba. The 6th annual Sangria Festival helps local organizations in the Humboldt Park community fight hunger. Watch as local chefs, mixologists, and bartenders handcraft a variety of refreshing Sangrias.

Sip, eat, and dance in the park to live music, flamenco, and hot samba entertainment. Enjoy live world music from gypsy, salsa funk, Latin alternative, reggae, and Spanish rock. Tempt your taste buds with a variety of food from tapas to bites to plates.

Keep your Latin going with the Tour of Latin America Food & Wine Festival. Enjoy painting while sipping sangria in the park with art instructors.

Summer Brew Cruise with Revolution Brewing

There’s a revolution brewing! Catch this Chicago tradition of beer, food, and drink out on the water.
