Vincent Falk documentary to be shown at Siskel Film Center Chicago premier will be May 7 29-Jan-10 – Last June, the documentary about Marina City resident Vincent Falk got an unofficial thumbs-up from film critic Roger Ebert. Now, “Vincent: A Life In Color” is headed for the Gene Siskel Film Center on North State Street. It will be the Chicago premiere for the 95-minute film about Falk, age 60, who dresses in brightly colored suits and dances on Chicago River bridges for the amusement of tour boats. According to producer/director Jennifer Burns, the film will be shown daily at the Siskel Film Center from May 7 through May 13. Gene Siskel, who died in 1999, was a film critic for the Chicago Tribune. He co-hosted two television shows with Ebert, a Sun-Times film critic.
In December, the documentary was shown at the Anchorage International Film Festival and in late November, audiences in northern Europe were treated to the story about Falk at a film festival in Estonia.
