September 1, 2010 – On the last scheduled day of filming in Chicago for Transformers 3, movie crews will be at Millennium Park in the morning and above Wacker Drive in the evening.

From 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., filming will take place at Millennium Park with limited pyrotechnics.

From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., a helicopter flying high above the main branch of the Chicago River will film brief pyrotechnics from the rooftops of various high-rise buildings along Wacker Drive.

There will be “minimal” disruption to traffic, according to the Office of Emergency Management & Communications.
