Traffic down at Marina City sites 4-Nov-10 – Most of the websites related to Marina City saw a decline in visitors over the past three months, according to the Web analysis company Alexa. skyscrapercity.com, operated by Marina City resident Jan Klerks, had a nine percent increase in traffic, making it the 1,553rd most popular site on the Internet. The site for 10pin Bowling Lounge had a 34 percent increase in traffic, easily keeping it in the top five Marina City sites. The biggest increase in traffic was to mascontext.com, edited by Iker Gil, an architect who lives at Marina City. His site went from an Alexa rank of almost 24 million in August to less than six million in November, a 77 percent increase. Alexa does not rank sub-domains, which leaves out chicago.dickslastresort.com, chicago.transwestern.net, and marinawatchdog.blogspot.com. New to the list is crimsonchicago.com, the website for Crimson Lounge at Hotel Sax.
