May 5, 2011 – As construction has picked up at the Museum of Broadcast Communications, new windows on the Kinzie side are filled with portraits of television performers from Chicago. Seen below are Lee Phillip, a former talk show host and creator of soap operas, and comedian Jack Benny. In other windows are Clayton Moore, in character as The Lone Ranger, Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy, Hugh Downs, Steve Allen, Bob Newhart, Siskel & Ebert, and Don Cornelius.

A new sidewalk on the State Street side opened to foot traffic on Thursday. (Click on images to view larger versions.)
