Still a small Marina City

28-Dec-12 – (Above) The miniature Marina City in the scale model of downtown Chicago that has been on display since 2009 in the atrium of the Santa Fe Building. Chris Wilson recently captured this close view.

1,000 downtown buildings on 400 city blocks are depicted in Chicago Architecture Foundation’s 25 x 35 foot exhibition, Chicago Model City. Columbian Model & Exhibit Works, Ltd., created the models using specialized software and a three-dimensional printer.
