Change of plea hearing set for accused Red Line Robber

January 12, 2010 – A change of plea hearing has been scheduled for the man accused of being the “Red Line Robber.”

Lance Dennie is charged with seven counts of bank robbery, including two robberies of the Chase branch at Marina City.

At the February 2 hearing, Dennie will change his plea to guilty, according to his court-appointed attorney. The 44-year-old south-side man was scheduled to go on trial on February 8.

Since his arrest in August, Dennie has been held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown Chicago.
