Broadcast museum to try live radio drama

X Minus One

8-Jan-13 – A glimpse into radio’s past will be offered on Wednesday as the Museum of Broadcast Communications offers live productions at its River North location of two classic radio dramas.

The Chicago theater troupe Dramageddon will perform The Screaming Woman, which first aired in 1948 on the CBS radio show Suspense, and Early Model, from a 1957 episode on NBC radio of X Minus One.

MBC president Bruce DuMont says if the first program goes well, they may do this every month.

Also performing will be Chicago musician Ronen Kohn and The Binary Starlets, a tap dancing duo.
