It’s for the painters, not to catch tipsy diners

9-Apr-12 – (Above) Guests at Marina City’s Smith & Wollensky dined under a sunny sky on Sunday, next to a scaffold that has been hanging off the plaza level for several days. The side of the commercial platform, below the patio but above the marina, is getting a fresh coat of paint. The work is being done at the direction of Transwestern, Marina City’s commercial property manager. (Click on image to view larger version.)
