Harry Caray’s to pour wine made by ‘Twin Peaks,’ ‘Portlandia’ actor

20-Jul-12 – (Above) Actor/winemaker Kyle MacLachlan (right) poses with legendary sportscaster Harry Caray and legendary restaurateur Grant DePorter on Thursday at Harry’s namesake restaurant on Kinzie Street. MacLachlan was in River North to talk about wine with Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse. Since 2005, MacLachlan has co-owned a winery in his native Washington state named appropriately Pursued By Bear.

Two of its red wines, a cabernet sauvignon and a syrah, will be available soon at Harry Caray’s.

MacLachlan might be back soon. According to Beth Heller, vice president of marketing for Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group, “We discussed doing a wine dinner with him sometime soon at the Kinzie location so hopefully he will return for that.”
