According to a building permit issued on August 30, a $95,000 renovation will expand the restaurant into space next door and create a new dining room and lounge. 26-Oct-16 – Anonymous inspectors for the Michelin Guide to Chicago found “quality food at a reasonable price” at six restaurants in River North this year. Their Bib Gourmand selections were announced on Wednesday. They include Bohemian House, Frontera Grill, Gilt Bar, GT Fish & Oyster, The Purple Pig, and Untitled Supper Club, all of which were on last year’s list. Beatrix and Slurping Turtle, chosen last year, did not make it back this year. Across Chicago, 52 restaurants earned Bib Gourmand designations and are in the seventh edition of Michelin Guide Chicago 2017. According to Michelin, Bib Gourmand restaurants typically serve two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for no more than $40, excluding tax and tip. Michelin stars will be handed out next Wednesday.
