Photo: The rough’n tumble laundry room
The note, in the east tower laundry room at Marina City, reads: To the person who stole three mens sweaters that were drying on these racks (bright red, mustard yellow, and bright green), I just thought we should alert you that the sweaters are potentially carrying feline Parvo/Panleuk viruses that killed a kitten we were fostering in less than 24 hours. I will be contacting the management office for surveillance video evidence. Please return the sweaters to the laundry room. We looked it up and there really is a virus named Parvo/Panleuk and its very serious. Bleach is used to kill it, which would explain why the sweaters were in the laundry room.
