23-Dec-15 – A Ralph Lauren alligator jacket worth $95,000 was stolen on a Monday afternoon this month on the Magnificent Mile.

According to Chicago Police Department, two people, a man and a woman, stole the jacket (left) from a retail store in the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue on December 14 between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. |
The jacket is a product of Ralph Lauren’s “Purple Label” brand.

On the same day, between 2:00 and 2:45 p.m., the same people stole a sport coat and jacket worth $10,000 from a store on East Oak Street just west of Michigan Avenue. CPD did not identify either store.
Burglars break windows, steal from Near North businesses
Also this month, businesses were warned about four early-morning commercial burglaries in River North and the Loop. In each incident, a burglar forced entry into the business, usually by breaking a window.
Three of the burglaries happened on East Huron Street, just west of Michigan Avenue, on three separate days – December 7, 13, and 15. A fourth happened on December 15 on Michigan Avenue across from Millennium Park.
Man arrested in Loop with fake debit cards

And a man was arrested Saturday in the Loop with more than 100 fake debit cards and stolen PINs.

He was arrested at about 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of North Dearborn Street and West Washington Street. Charged with counterfeiting and burglary, Jordache was in bond court on Sunday.
