Fox News broadcasts ‘Your World’ from our riverwalk

October 3, 2011 – If it’s Monday, it must be Chicago. Fox News arrived in River North today. Neil Cavuto hosted his show Your World from the Chicago Riverwalk at Trump International Hotel & Tower. To help the network celebrate its 15th anniversary, the east end of the lower riverwalk was closed so that a TV crew could set up a temporary set.

Started on October 7, 1996, Fox News Channel, part of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire, averages about 1.9 million primetime viewers, according to recent Nielsen ratings.

Guests on Monday included Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, United Continental CEO Jeff Smisek, Boeing CEO W. James McNerney, Jr., and Jim Skinner, CEO of McDonald’s. On Thursday, the Fox show Hannity will broadcast from Atlanta.
