Photo by Steven Dahlman 11-Apr-11 – (Left) A race official hands out encouragement to runners as they pass Marina City Sunday morning. More than 32,000 people ran in the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle, a nearly five-mile race that turned south onto State Street for ten blocks.

A 27-year-old Canadian, Simon Bairu, won the race in 23 minutes 38 seconds. (Below) A runner (at left) waves and runs. Click on images to view larger versions.
