Luis Urculo

December 10, 2011 – (Above) Marina City is depicted as two stacks of dishes in a video by a Spanish designer. According to Luis Urculo’s page on vimeo.com, the video was presented in November at the Meeting of Architecture and Performance in Madrid.

In the video, called Covers, a woman uses dishes, books, silverware, stereo equipment, a wig, and other assorted items to construct ten famous buildings, including Chicago’s John Hancock Center, Willis Tower, and Marina City.
