Only a few skyscrapers near North Michigan Avenue penetrate low clouds in this cover of crane operator/photographer Ken Derry’s upcoming photo book. “Chicago: A View From The Top” will contain 200-300 photos taken by Ken on breaks from building Trump International Hotel & Tower for McHugh Construction Company.

The book will be available soon, according to graphic designer Marie Gilbert. “We’re in the final stages of layout and are in the process of getting printing quotes. Depending on the printer we choose and their schedule, I’m hoping it will be available in the next four to eight weeks.” (Click on image to view larger version.)
