Condo board decides 27 cats is enough
The new rules, which took effect on July 10, limit pets to household cats, service dogs, fish, and small birds. There may be no more than one cat in a studio unit, two cats in a one-bedroom unit, and three cats in a two-bedroom unit. Animals have to be registered with the condo association, have a photo on file, and pay a $15 fee. Cats who were living at Marina City before July 10 are not affected. It is believed the 27 cats no longer reside at Marina City. Effort to reach the owner of the condo unit was not successful. [This story was updated on July 13.] |
