April 12, 2012 – (Above) Suspects in a fuse heist at Marina City. According to a police report, two young men were seen leaving the east tower at 4 a.m. on March 14 carrying electrical fuses worth about $300. A 73-year-old resident reported a fuse box stolen from a hallway storage area sometime between midnight and 10 a.m. The two men were described as about 18 years old, six feet tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair. One was wearing a red plaid shirt and blue jeans and the other had dark colored gym shoes.

These photos (click to view larger version) from a surveillance camera were posted on bulletin boards at Marina City on March 16. On Thursday, a police spokesperson said the case is “still open.”
