13-Jun-14 – Chicago Architecture Foundation is not saying much about a project it is working on to document what it calls “ten of Chicago’s most asked about buildings.”

Anjuli Maniam, curator of exhibitions and visitor engagement for CAF, initially declined to respond at all to inquiries about the project. After some prodding from Loop North News and others at CAF, she declined to share any video, images, or documents from the production.
The ten buildings are Aqua, Chicago Board of Trade, Harold Washington Library, Inland Steel Company, Marina City, Marquette Building, Monadnock Building, The Rookery, Tribune Tower, and Willis Tower. Two of these buildings are north of the Loop, with Marina City in River North and Tribune Tower in Streeterville.
“The showcase will include a set of videos that explore the ideas and intentions behind each building,” Maniam did offer in an email on Thursday. She says the videos will be available online, presumably the CAF website, on September 19, but no further details were available.
