25-Sep-16 – He’s off the radar of the Department of Justice but now Stacy Keach is looking for him. Dr. Gary Kimmel, the former River North dentist who spent 17 months in federal prisons for money laundering schemes involving pimps and prostitutes, will be the subject of an upcoming episode of American Greed. According to Chicago-based Kurtis Productions, they are in “early production” of the episode, which will air next year on CNBC. Kimmel was a unit owner at Marina City and at one time served on its condo board. He pleaded guilty in 2008 and did time at minimum-security prisons in Illinois and Kansas. He currently resides in the Philippines with his wife and three children. The weekly television show, narrated by Keach, has for ten seasons focused on white collar crime.
